YOU ARE GOING ON VACATION ! (sort of...)

You have $5000.00 imaginary dollars to spend on a two week vacation!

You have two classes to put together your trip and SHOW your budget.

So... how will you do this?

1st: determine where you want to go, and how you will get there. Use the Internet to gather PROOF of travel costs. (That means print something that shows the cost of travel).

2nd: determine where you will stay. Get PROOF of costs -- that means 'clip' from the webpage you find the item on, and show it in your work.

3rd: what are you going to eat? How much will it cost? Look around on some travel journal sites or travel blogs that refer to your destination to get PROOF of your costs.

4th: what are you going to do while you are there? How much will it cost? Again, show PROOF.

FINALLY,

Put all of your costs together in a table or spreadsheet and print it. Attach your PROOFs to this cover sheet and hand all of it in with your name clearly listed on the front of the package.

Your page should have:

Name and Date

Destination of Travel

A table showing the total costs of:

Travel

Accommodation

Food

Recreation

HAPPY TRAVELLING!
